Advising Instructions
- Log on to Degree Navigator (DN) at degree.ou.edu, review your Degree Audit by selecting the "Graduation Report with Current & Selected Courses" from the drop down Degree Description Menu. Make sure you are on the correct degree pattern and that the report accurately reflects the courses you have taken. Discuss any problems or inaccuracies with your MCEE advisor.
- Print a trial schedule on enroll.ou.edu to ensure that there are no scheduling conflicts or any special permissions required for chosen classes and bring a copy of your trial schedule with you to your faculty advising appointment. If there are special permissions required, special permissions will be given at the time of your faculty advisement in your school.
- Meet with your faculty advisor.
- Your faculty advisor will indicate the courses you agree upon in your DN "Notes" section and clear your advising stop.
- If you wish to have an OU course substituted for a degree requirement, you will need written permission from a faculty advisor documented in the "Notes" section on DN.
- When your enrollment window opens, register for classes for the upcoming term.
- Remember to "Finalize" your enrollment.
